Program Outcome
- Basic and Discipline specific knowledge: Apply knowledge of basic mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals and engineering specialization to solve the engineering problems.
- Problem analysis: Identify and analyse well-defined engineering problems using codified standard methods.
- Design/ development of solutions: Design solutions for well-defined technical problems and assist with the design of systems components or processes to meet specified needs.
- Engineering Tools, Experimentation and Testing: Apply modern engineering tools and appropriate technique to conduct standard tests and measurements.
- Engineering practices for society, sustainability and environment: Apply appropriate technology in context of society, sustainability, environment and ethical practices.
- Project Management: Use engineering management principles individually, as a team member or a leader to manage projects and effectively communicate about well-defined engineering activities.
- Life-long learning: Ability to analyse individual needs and engage in updating in the context of technological changes.
Program Specific Outcomes (PSO)
- PSO-1. Should be able to clearly understand the concepts and application of component design, to make an interpret Tool design and to plan and organise for making, fitting and assembly of tools and dies using manufacturing techniques using hand tools, conventional machines , CNC machines and advanced technologies in tooling.
- PSO-2. Should be able to apply the knowledge related to material selection, workshop technology, Metrology and Quality engineering to arrive at solutions for industrial related problems.
- PSO-3. Should be able to practice on industrial hands on experience in different advanced machines like CMM, Wire cut EDM, 5 Axes CNC Machine, Jig grinding machine etc. in the provided Tool room which fulfils time to time demands of various industries.
Program Educational Objectives (PEO)
- PEO-1. KNOWLEDGE The tool and die engineering diploma holders will have strong fundamental technical knowledge and core competency in Tool and die making, Tool engineering, Tool design, Manufacturing and production, Quality control and Industrial management with the use of conventional, nonconventional, CNC machines and software tools.
- PEO-2. SKILLS the Tool and die engineering diploma holders will have efficient leadership quality with effective communication, professional, computational and core skills for their overall personalities and carrier development.
- PEO-3. ATTTITUDE The tool and die engineering diploma holders will follow and practice ethical responsibilities and service towards their Peers, Employers, and society in their daily life with an aptitude to presume lifelong learning, higher education and entrepreneurship.
